Just talked to Larry a player and lover of the tradition, ... we were talking gon bops... hell of a nice guy.
I was running down the list of drums i have for sale... old gon bops, and a valje.
He's making a fat bomba out of a wine barrel like this one... pics to come..
He send me a pic of a soy sauce drum like the one i was gifted last year by Sir Brian.
These little tubs sound fat when played with a stick!! old school!!
